Good for you for being able to hold her at a distance. I do this dance with her regularly, for years now. We will probably never release each other completely. I’ve made my peace with her and do the best I can to not get too comfortable in her arms for too long when she comes calling. I have lost myself in the cold warmth of her darkness more than once.
